KielRe is led by Derek Poppinga. Derek previously co-founded MM Capital, an Irish-based real estate developer and asset manager with over €500m of assets under management (AUM) across investment and development projects since inception.
He possesses extensive institutional investment experience across private equity, principal investing, and investment banking roles at global firms including Morgan Stanley, Bridgewater Associates, and H.I.G. Capital. Throughout his career, he has successfully executed over €1Bn of complex real estate and corporate transactions.
